Electromagnetic therapy alcohol addiction

Today, holistic health care practices for alcohol addiction are some of the newest and most promising forms of therapy available. Holistic health care means whole person health care. With holistic health care, the treatment isn’t limited in scope to merely the symptoms of an infection, for example, but extends over the whole person, and its practices treat all underlying causes, from physical to psychological. Taking a holistic health care approach to alcohol addiction seems to be a far better treatment option than traditional ones, which will treat only one aspect of the alcohol addiction at a time.

While today, holistic health care practices for alcohol addiction offer an extensively wide scope of treatment options, which include such things as electromagnetic therapy, low level laser treatment, and yoga, we’re going to focus on the first one- electromagnetic therapy. Using an electromagnetic therapy approach to the treatment of alcohol addiction, we will often see it offers a more promising success rate, due to it treating the underlying causes of the alcohol addiction as a part of the one treatment, as opposed to compartmentalizing and attempting to separate and treat the alcohol addiction on its own, then treat the underlying physical and mental causes.
Electromagnetic therapy , often referred to as bio-resonance screening and treatment, is using the bodies own electro-magnetic force, and applying theories from both Chinese accupuncture based medicine combined with guides of homeopathy. The theory is that the body’s bio-electric field gets obscured, or damaged, and by using the electromagnetic therapy approach, you relieve these, resulting in the overall reduction of symptoms from the alcohol addiction.

When undergoing electromagnetic therapy for an alcohol addiction, the alcohol addict has no cause to worry. The electromagnetic therapy is completely painless, and while based in part on Chinese accupuncture medicine, there are no needles, or punctures to the body. Instead, based upon the alcohol addict’s own body’s electromagnetic field readings, electromagnetic therapy is applied to certain points, to alleviate perceived blockages, and interruptions in the normal electromagnetic flow. The goal of the electromagnetic theory is to relieve these disruptions, and restore the proper electromagnetic flow. It is believed that by doing so, the overall cause for the alcohol addiction is treated, and relieved, as well as directly treating the alcohol addiction itself. As with any form of therapy, it may take several electromagnetic therapy sessions in order to successfully treat, and aid the alcohol addiction.

Stories of alcohol addiction

There are many stories of alcohol addiction. The stories of alcohol addiction can be either of the stories behind the beginning of what is now known as alcohol addiction, or the individual stories of the people who have suffered with alcohol addiction. Alcohol has been used and consumed since before biblical times. While alcohol has been around for millennia, alcohol addiction is considered to be of relatively new discovery It wasn’t until recently, around 1860, that alcohol addiction itself became noticed as such, an addiction to alcohol.

Stories of alcohol addiction on an individual, personal scale have a vast, and virtually unlimited plot line database. While you may hear stories of men, or women who thru their alcohol addiction were attempting to ease their minds of abuses suffered during their childhood, other stories of alcohol addiction are far more complex, and involved a start of just having a few drinks with friends, and ending by spiralling out of control into a full blown alcohol addiction. There are millions of stories, some of recovery and success, and some of defeat by an alcoholic addiction, and both tend to usually display a deep pain associated with both the alcohol addiction and various pain from their past, or present.

Alcohol has it’s personal stories rooted deep in ancient times. Centuries ago, before alcohol addiction was even a thought in the mind of a scholar, stories of the uses of alcohol as a medicine was an oft heard thing. Personally when looking back on the stories of medieval medicine, a story I read of medicinal options about 500 years ago, I believe I’d have chosen drinking some whiskey, or other form of alcohol long before I’d decide to go thru leech therapy! However, alcohol had it’s uses. In those far ancient times, going back to even the stories in the Bible, alcohol was a far more common beverage than water today. The reason is medically sound. While at points in history, it may not have been recognized, by drinking wine, persons were avoiding serious health problems. Alcohol killed many bacteria and pathogens, thereby rendering undrinkable water, in it’s new form as wine, or mead, into a safe drink.

All the various stories about when alcohol addiction began can be easily followed to the truth. The stories of alcohol addiction as a medical issue, are traced to around 150 years ago, when a man noticed that persons seemed to have a true addiction to the alcohol. In the 150 years, since then, as the stories of alcohol addiction has changed, and grown, the studies and treatments have likewise grown. A story that started so many years ago, is today a story of hope, of treatment.

Holistic health care practices drug alcohol addiction

Holistic health care practices for drug and alcohol addiction are some of the newer forms of therapy available now. Holistic health care means whole person health care. With holistic health care, the treatment isn’t limited in scope to merely the symptoms of an infection, for example, but extends over the whole person, and its practices treat all underlying causes, from physical to psychological. Taking a holistic health care approach to drug and alcohol addiction seems to be a far better treatment option than traditional ones, which will treat only one aspect of the drug and alcohol addiction at a time.

Today, holistic health care practices for drug and alcohol addiction offer an extensively wide scope of treatment options. Holistic health care practices include such things as electro-magnetic therapies, low level laser treatment, to reiki and yoga. By using holistic health care practices to approach the treatment of drug and alcohol addiction, it offers a more promising success rate, due to it treating the underlying causes of the drug and alcohol addiction as a part of the one treatment, as opposed to compartmentalizing and attempting to separate and treat the drug and alcohol addiction on its own, then treat the underlying physical and mental causes.

We’ll look at 2 options for holistic health care practices available to treat drug and alcohol addiction. Electro-magnetic therapy and low level laser therapy. The electro-magnetic therapy, often referred to as bio-resonance screening and treatment, is using the bodies own electro-magnetic force, and applying theories from both Chinese accupuncture based medicine combined with guides of homeopathy. The theory is that the body’s bio-electric field gets obscured, or damaged, and by using the holistic healthcare practice approach of electro magnetic therapy, you relieve these, resulting in aiding in the overall reduction of symptoms from the drug and alcohol addiction.

With low level laser therapy, it functions very much on the same basis as electro-magnetic therapy, by using the Chinese accupuncture based medicine, it uses a low level laser to activate these points. The primary difference between the two is that with the low level laser therapy, it utilizes electrical stimulation alone, as opposed to electro-magnetic stimuli. Both forms of therapy show a different face to treatments available. With holistic health care, the overall view is that the overall person should be treated, which in the case of drug and alcohol addition, is the best option available.

Alcohol addiction recovery

Recovery from alcohol addiction is not easy. Luckily, today the number of programs which treat alcohol addiction is quite high. There are numbers of persons who have achieved recovery through both traditional, as well as non-traditional methods. With so many options to aid in recovery, the only stumbling block is in a person’s dedication to their alcohol addiction recovery.

Alcohol addiction recovery is subjugated by 3 primary directions of treatment. Physical, or physiological, mental, or psychological, as well as social. While the overall groupings are small, the amount of treatments within each grouping are overwhelming. All available forms of treatment to achieve alcohol addiction recovery begin by using one, or all of these groups as a base.

Physiological, which means dealing with the physical body, for a recovery you must first go thru a safe withdrawal from alcohol. After this, very often, long term care for certain chronic, or long term conditions must be carried out. Recovery from an alcohol addiction does not ensure recovery from diabetes, cirrhosis of the liver, or pancreatitis, which often occur with alcohol addiction.
Mental, or psychological treatments for alcohol addiction recovery almost always involve individual and group therapies. It has been shown that overall group therapies have more success in the long run for recovery. Not to be ignored, individual therapy has had it’s share of success with alcohol addiction recovery, as well. While long term, inpatient types of recovery treatments have been used frequently, it is known now that short term outpatient recovery treatments are far more successful in the earlier stages of recovery.

The basic 4 groups of social intercession for alcohol addiction recovery have varied methods. First is via an obligatory community supervision effort. Example: An employer with a requisite for alcohol addicts in recovery to participate in treatment. Next , is what is known as substitution intervention. Substitution recovery intervention asks the alcohol addict in recovery to trade his alcohol addiction with a hobby such as crocheting. Lastly, another method is called “protective wall of human community” by Jungians. Alcohol addicts in recovery have a higher rate of relapses when they attempt to use familiar faces for this. Therefore, it is far more advisable for the alcohol addict in recovery to attempt to create new relationships, very similar to what religious communities display. Finally, getting closer to god, or a higher deity can help strengthen the recovery effort.

While there may be no one way to recovery, there are many options to try. Occasionally a person will reach recovery on their own. In the end the important part is the recovery from the alcohol addiction, period.

Who is involved in alcohol addiction

Alcohol addiction is a multi-faceted issue. It doesn’t limit itself to the alcohol addict themselves, but instead stretches it’s tentacles into the depths of even the persons the alcohol addict barely brush. Who exactly IS involved in alcohol addiction? Let’s start with who the alcohol addict interacts with the most in an average day, their family.

The family of an alcohol addict is involved in the alcohol addiction usually to the very core. Frequently the alcohol addiction is aided, albeit unintentionally, by the ones who care the most about the alcohol addict, earning them the title of “enabler”. The alcohol addiction has many effects upon the family of the alcohol addict, from strained, stressed relationships, to even abusive relationships, oft while the alcohol addict is in the throes of their alcohol addiction.

Friends of an alcohol addict are occasionally alcohol addicts themselves, and more often they too are “enablers”. Many friendships are lost due to alcohol addiction. Who wishes to be involved with someone who in the process of their alcohol addiction forgets promises made to friends, and sometimes can cause embarrassing scenes? The best friend during an alcohol addiction is the one who says, “Enough.”. Though with an alcohol addiction, the alcohol addict is most likely to view that person as just the opposite, instead seeing them as a dire enemy merely because they refuse to enable the alcohol addiction.

Employers, and employees become effected by the alcohol addiction as well. They suffer from missed work, missing pay checks, and various other incidents. An employer cannot afford to have someone who from the severity of their alcohol addiction will arrive to work in an alcohol haze. An employee cannot depend upon the extreme swings of the alcohol addiction afflicted employer to provide work, or even at times pay. In a business view, alcohol addiction is quite severe. It can cripple, or ruin the career, or business of one who is involved in alcohol addiction.

There are also the other victims of the alcohol addiction. While someone who has an alcohol addiction may believe they are driving perfectly, in a split second they can have an accident, and the person who they hit becomes another victim of the alcohol addiction. At work, if someone who is under the burden of an alcohol addiction is operating a crane for example, and makes one false move, dropping a large item, there could be not one, but multiple victims.

Not all who are involved in alcohol addiction are involved on the victimized side. Caregivers and supporters such as doctors, therapists, and sometimes, persons recovered from an alcohol addiction themselves, are all available to offer aid to someone who is seeking help for an alcohol addiction. These persons are there to help, and offer their support, whether thru a heartfelt chat about alcohol addiction, group therapy, or medical care supportive of ending an alcohol addiction.

Overall, the amount of persons who are involved in alcohol addiction is rather overwhelming. Most people who are in an alcohol addiction don’t truly realize the width their actions impact. If a someone who has an alcohol addiction could sit down, and see clearly who their alcohol addiction impacts, perhaps it would aid them in their decision to begin treatment to end their alcohol addiction.
