Blu-ray problems
When it comes to an electronic devices that costs well over $600.00 you would expect it to be problem free. Well, this is where the music stops. Normally every electronic device will run into some problems sometime during its lifetime. Yes, this even means that the ever so popular blu-ray device that everyone has been talking about has problems as well. When we are talking about problems it does not mean that it is not a good device because everything will have problems if you analyze it enough.
The fact is that the problem with the blu- ray actually starts with the technology itself. With the idea that the 50 GB dual layer capacity that a blu-ray has is actually superior to HD DVD’S 30 GB. This space is not needed when it comes to playing blu-ray movies. The truth to this matter is real simple; most blu-ray discs do not go past the mark of 25 GB.
There have been a lot of questions about blu-ray’s production problems. This problem actually involves blu-ray’s numerical aperture. If you want to store more data on a disc you will find hat the laser is actually bent into the shape of a cone. If you do not know, when it comes to the aperture setting on the normal DVD it is 0.6, if you are looking at a HD DVD’s aperture you will find that it is a little smaller setting at 0.65. Then there is additional capacity that will be provided by the blu laser technology itself.
If you would like the full 25 GB per layer, blu-ray has came out with a 0.85 aperture, this means that the divots that are on the optical later are actually smaller and also prone to having more problems.
When it comes to the smaller aperture, it actually requires a more thinner disc and also a smaller layer spacing, which in turns makes the medium more vulnerable. Now as you see when it comes to blu-ray problems there are not very many of them. Maybe this is why the blu-ray costs anywhere from three-hundred dollars to a thousand? Not to mention how much the blu-ray discs actually costs! This could be a problem to many people in today’s society. Maybe sometime in the future the cost will be fixed to something that nearly every household will be able to afford, just give it time and this is one problem that will be fixed.

Welcome to you all to my blog.
My name is Lawrence (Larry) and I was brought up in the Channel Island of Guernsey.
After spending 20yrs in the Army and travelling extensively the island seemed rather small to live and work so I now live in London.
I hope you enjoy this blog and my aim is to have plenty of different subjects for you to read. And of course appropriate comments are always well received.

I have so far deleted over 14800 of these including a mass of porn links which is tiresome.
I welcome comments only from real people with something to say and relevant.
In regard to comments, as much as I like to reply to as many comments as possible it is very difficult what with work and college commitments to do so.
Hopefully other readers can pass on their ideas and suggestions to any questions you may have.
