Christmas cake

Traditions rule the way we celebrate. Traditions have a great effect on the things we eat. One such delicious tradition is the Christmas cake. A Christmas cake is a fruit cake that is served at Christmas time in the UK, Ireland and many other countries around the world. Christmas cakes come in different shapes and sizes.
A particular big favorite of a large number of people is a traditional and great Scottish Christmas festive cake, the cake named Whisky Dundee. According to the name, this cake originated by the people of Dundee and was and even today continues to be made with some Scotch whisky. This is a very light and greatly crumbly cake, and is light on the fruit and some candied peel. Only fruits such as currants, some raisins, some sultanas and some cherries have been used. A Christmas cake was and is particularly very good for all people who do not like some very rich always and differently moist cakes. As is the case with all different fruitcakes almonds or other nuts could be generally omitted through the people who do not really like them.
At one end of a different Christmas cake and its continuum is a cake having an apple cream. This Christmas cake suits a rich match of finely cut apples, some raisins and different fruits, some eggs, some cream cheese, some heavy whipping cream.a

The cake has been a favorite with kids too. The craze for the cake simply refuses to die down in the near future.
There have been different types of experimentations with the flavors of these cakes and as a result they re now available in a wide variety of flavors which they were not previously available in. these favors are often the mixture of a few already mixed flavors and are a real fun to eat.
