There is no doubt about the fact that a sport is a field where people are attracted due to its fame and their passion for the fame and not for the money. It is also true that the one playing for the sake of money never succeeds in his career. The one who plays for the passion and for the love of the game always wins. If you do not have love for the game and your passion was never to be the part of the game and you were pushed and forced by someone to get into this game then you can never achieve the goals in your life. But sports are a place where the player is putting in all his strength and power to ge credit from the people at least. It feels good to know that there are people who want to see you in the field, who expect you to contribute a general portion for the victory of your team.
But fame alone is not enough to keep you health and fit for contributing to the team. Money is always a very important matter of life. When you are into a particular sport it is very difficult to do a job along with it as well. Spot asks for your commitment. Without proper commitment and devotion, there is no difference between you and the kids playing in the street. Therefore governments and the regulatory bodies in each sport pay the player a handsome amount. In last few decades we have seen that players are often given high amount of salaries and they live a lavish life. This is because of their hard work and pure devotion.
Like all other games football is also a very popular game and the players playing football are very devoted. That is why the AFL organizing committee keeps in mind the betterment of its players and pays them a handsome amount of salary for their normal living.
