Afl ball

AFL (Australian football league) is a game that is the centre of attraction for all the sports lovers in Australia. This is the game played usually between two different teams. It is the football. Most of the people today, do not know about the football. They often misunderstand football with soccer. Soccer is an entirely different game. Soccer involves a round ball which is played with the help of legs; you can not touch the ball with your hands. If you touch the ball with you hands then it will be regarded as a big foul and you will be given a warning from the referee. You may also be told to get out of the game immediately and in the worst case you might get banned for another game. This was soccer. Football is different from soccer. The ball is basically an oval shaped ball and it is played with the hands and legs both. A team passes the ball with hands to each other. The ball is to be taken to the other point where u will have to cross a line in order to make a goal. If the players from other team stop you from going there then the attempt to make a goal is unsuccessful. But if the player successfully crosses a line and the ball is still in his hands then it is counted as a goal. The ball can even be kicked with foot to go through a long pole. Each game which involves a ball is played differently and every game has its unique ball to play the game. Baseball has a different ball while football has a bigger and different ball to play the game. Tennis and cricket on the other hand have different balls as well. But all these games have normal round shaped balls to play the game. Although the material is different but still all of the balls are round.

But there is an exception. The only game where the ball is not round but an oval shaped object is the football or rugby. In this game the ball is made in oval shape and is played with the hands normally. The ball for the AFL games is very special and it is made by the company called “Spalding”. This company is popular in the ball making business and provides ball for games like basket ball football and volleyball.
