The individual decides it is sexy or not. One person may think a cotton night gown is sexy lingerie, while the next thinks a sheer, crotchless teddy is sexy lingerie. There will be designers who will try and tell you what sexy lingerie is, but when it comes down to it, only the person buying the lingerie can decide if it is considered to be sexy lingerie or not.

Sexy lingerie may not be what it seems. Sexy does not always mean revealing or brazen. Sexy lingerie can be very simple pieces.
